The Manning Family Children’s Holiday Parade is an annual tradition that kicks off the holiday season. Thousands of parade-goers will line the streets of downtown New Orleans to enjoy the annual event, which benefits the vital mission of Children’s. The parade will feature 30 holiday-themed floats, high-flying helium balloons, and more than a dozen dancing groups and marching bands to kick off the holiday season in New Orleans.

The Manning Family Children’s Holiday Parade will begin at the French Market and roll through the French Quarter before turning on Canal St. The parade continues down Canal St. to O’Keefe Ave. before turning around to head back towards Tchoupitoulas. The parade will end on Tchoupitoulas and Andrew Higgins.

Best spectator viewing areas: The New Canal Lighthouse, Lakeshore Drive seawall to Canal Blvd, piers and restaurants along the New Basin Canal, along the Point
